Wander Far And Wander Often
A visual exploration of time and place. “Invading Spaces, Quest – Im Wandel Der Zeit” and “Voyagers – Instant Encounters” are two multidisciplinary projects that explore themes of movement, exploration, and human interaction through a variety of media, including photography, writing, audio, video, and drawing.

The core idea behind this website was to create a digital platform capable of housing and showcasing the ever-evolving content of this ongoing, massive, and lifelong project. “Quest – Im Wandel Der Zeit” delves into the human impact on the environment, examining the cultural and regional characteristics of man-made spaces.

As the saying goes, “Show me how you live, and I’ll tell you who you are.” By studying the built environment, we can gain insights into the societies that created it. These man-made spaces, whether intentional or unintentional, can be seen as “invading spaces” that shape our world.

“Voyagers – Instant Encounters” takes a more direct approach to portraiture, utilizing Instax Polaroid film to capture spontaneous moments of human connection. The format’s unique aesthetic complements the candid nature of these instant encounters. By revealing only the subjects’ origins and the location and time of the photo, the project reflects on the increasing globalization of our world while respecting individual privacy.
